Hey everyone, it's World Water Week and here is something you can do to help!Check out this site (designed by my lil' bro Klane ;) and see what you can do to support the Utah Tap Project!
Here's the idea: Go out to eat at a participating restaurant and donate $1 for the tap water that you general would get for free. That $1 will provide clean drinking water for a child for 40 days! Someone else can always say it better:
"We all take clean water for granted, yet the lack of it has become the second largest killer of children worldwide. The Tap Project is an award-winning fundraising program for UNICEF, and in just 2 years, this project has raised enough money to provide millions of children with clean drinking water. But there is still much to be done. In 2009, the Utah TAP Project will launch for the very first time. This is our opportunity to come together as a state and rally behind something we all can believe in.
Life is worth celebrating, and the privilege to give life is worth raising a glass of water to."
