In the neighborhood where I grew up down in Lindon some of our old family friends have built a railroad line through their properties. Every year for Halloween they get everything decorated, do a light show, have treats, set up a movie, and take kids for rides on their trains. Ryan was in HEAVEN! He was so excited when he saw the train! His face was priceless when he sat down in his very own seat (and of course I was too late with the camera to catch it!) Mama made arrangements for us to go with the cousins and even though it was pretty cold, everyone was too excited to notice. What makes it even cooler is the family does this all for free. In fact, they have been asked so often about people paying for their experience, that any payment people would like to make will be donated to the Lindon Care Center. What a great example in giving and service to the community, they could make A LOT of money on this thing and instead the whole ward volunteers time and effort to provide kids with a great holiday experience. Thanks to all the friends we saw when we were there, and those who were in the background, we had a blast!
