We had a blast at the Real Salt Lake vs. LA Galaxy game on Saturday night. It was perfect weather and despite all our misgivings about taking a 6 month old to a stadium full of rowdy soccer fans, Ry did fantastic! He literally didn't make a sound almost the entire game he was so enthralled with everything going on around him. All the noise didn't seem to bug him...it was amazing! The game was great, with 2 quick Real goals to start off with, and then two very incredible goals by some guy with tattoos that plays for the Galaxy :) (Even when you are rooting for the other team, it is really hard not to clap when David Beckham impossibly bends the ball into the net, twice!) We have decided that once that cool new stadium is finished in more accessible Sandy, we would be very interested in season tickets.
