Because Chris rarely has work off, I let him choose what he wanted to do today. So off on an adventure we went. Since we live right next to the Oquirrh Mountains, we decided to go exploring. We took off in our white trash 1984 truck (I'll be sure to post a picture sometime...) and drove up the mountain and captured quite a view:
Then we went for a 'nature walk' to 'see where the trail goes' that was infested with Deer Flies. Still, we had a great time and Ryan seemed to enjoy the great outdoors; he was singing the whole way ;)
After that, we did a little yard work (see following post...) and then headed down to my parents for a BBQ, fireworks, & Ryan vs the Flowbee Take II:
We have video, but it is pretty much the same as last time, a lot of crying. Still, he looks pretty cute with his newly short hair!
(Please ignore the runny nose, it has been a constant battle this week, and I am losing)

I can't believe he's had yet another haircut! haha. Can he share some of that hair with my baby please? I am thinking we'll get a first haircut when Brady's a toddler!
Look how cute you guys are to go hike, I promise I will NEVER go on a hike just to go on a hikebfor fun :) Way to be athletic. I like his new haircut, he is just growing up so fast.
I'm so glad you could come to the derby. Ry seemed to do so well (despite the rain). Here's to doing it again next year!
